Our sheepskins are ethically sourced and a part of the food industry as well processed through strict tannery guidelines. Lined with a padded reverse lining, or fur rugs are exquisitely fluffy enhancing their beauty through the craftsmanship of our rugs. Mongolian fur is classed as a lightweight sheepskin so a non-slip grip is highly recommended. Sheepskin is natural product therefore variation is expected within each floor rug in texture, pile and colour. Sheepskin wool has natural highlights which will create variation in colour tone with lighter and darker shades making each fur rug that we make to be unique.

Due to the production process, loose wool fibres may be trapped within the fur rug and wool shedding will / may occur. Due to our safe tanning practices, the rugs are dyed with safer treatments resulting that these fur rugs must be protected from direct sunlight exposure to protect against colour fading.

Care Instructions

All animal skin, furs, and sheepskin products are natural products that will feature variation in color tone, pile, texture, and shape.
All dyed products keep away from direct UV sunlight exposure as this may damage the colour.
In the event of staining, remove excess soiling with a dry cloth. If it is a liquid stain absorb as much of the stain with a dry cloth without spreading the stain further.
Only with lukewarm water and gentle detergent, gently wash the stain. Do not submerge or wash the product unless otherwise stated.
Do not use chemical agents.
Remove excess moisture with a dry cloth and allow it to dry naturally in the shade and do not apply heat.
Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Keep away from moist and damp areas.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not steam clean
Professional Dry clean only.
Gently shake outside or use a low-setting vacuum cleaner.
All dyed products keep away from direct UV sunlight exposure as this may damage the colour.
