Extra-Large Natural White Merino Sheepskin Rug 

Elevate your interiors with the luxurious comfort and sculptural beauty of this extra-large natural white sheepskin rug, hand-crafted from the finest  Merino sheepskins. Renowned for its thick, shaggy wool, Merino is a world-class natural fibre — insulating and warm in winter, yet breathable and cooling in summer. With a plush 5–7 cm wool pile, this exquisite rug adds lush texture, depth, and charm to any bedroom, living room, or contemporary interior.

Each rug is hand-made in Australia by eluxury home artisans from eight personally selected Merino hides, forming a unique octo design with an organic, scalloped edge. No two rugs are alike — every sheepskin varies naturally in shape, size, and texture, giving each piece its own distinctive character. The soft, natural white wool may feature subtle yellow undertones, a hallmark of authentic Merino. For a brighter white, availability can be confirmed prior to ordering.

Designed to complement a wide range of interiors — from Bohemian and Hamptons to Manhattan Contemporary — this large sheepskin rug brings understated luxury, tactile elegance, and timeless style to your floors.

At eluxury home, we are committed to sustainable and healthier living. All Merino sheepskins are tanned using eco-friendly, non-toxic processes, offering a luxurious, responsible alternative for interior styling.

This octo-panel rug is custom-made to order, with production taking approximately one week. Any of our premium Merino hides can also be crafted into larger bespoke area rugs to suit your space.

Genuine Merino Sheepskin

Dimensions: 200x 200cm approx

Col: Natural White

All animal skin, furs, and sheepskin products are natural products that will feature variation in color tone, pile, texture, and shape.
All dyed products keep away from direct UV sunlight exposure as this may damage the colour.
In the event of staining, remove excess soiling with a dry cloth. If it is a liquid stain absorb as much of the stain with a dry cloth without spreading the stain further.
Only with lukewarm water and gentle detergent, gently wash the stain. Do not submerge or wash the product unless otherwise stated.
Do not use chemical agents.
Remove excess moisture with a dry cloth and allow it to dry naturally in the shade and do not apply heat.
Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Keep away from moist and damp areas.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not steam clean
Professional Dry clean only.
Gently shake outside or use a low-setting vacuum cleaner.
