Made in Australia, this double sheepskin throw is crafted from the highest quality and eco-tanned natural black Icelandic sheepskins that will bring distinguished textural elements, filled with coziness and instant design appeal. These sheepskins are not dyed but rather feature the natural colour of the sheep wool.  Preserving the beautiful natural colour tones and markings found in each sheepskin makes each sheepskin unique and  beautiful in their own individual way as natural black Icelandic sheepskins can come with slight brown undertone with extraordinary small white pigments and/or strands of white wool running through the wool. One of the benefits of styling with a natural wool rather than a dyed sheepskin wool is that they are more resilient to sun exposure as dyed colours  will/may fade if exposed to direct UV.

Hand-crafted from two pre-matched sheepskin hides, each individual Icelandic sheepskin adds to the natural and organic shape of the sheepskin runner with approximate dimensions of 70 x 180cm from its furthest points allowing this generous length to drape over a sofa, seated bench or an arm chair. Icelandic sheepskin features a long wool to 15cm in length creating a lush and shaggy pile that looks stunning mixed back with other natural textures like timber, cane and linens.
