The sheepskins that are used for our rugs undergo the highest quality tanning process. Tanned under strict European Union Laws and Regulations these Icelandic sheepskins a processed with non toxic chemicals making these sheepskins eco friendly from natural by-products.

The double Icelandic Sheepskin rug is crafted from two individual sheepskins making each double rug unique as no two rugs will ever be alike. The natural curves of each individual sheepskin will determine and create the outer curves formed in each piece. This thick shaggy rug is not a straight edge design and dimensions are taken from the furthest points but may vary slightly depending upon each sheepskin.

Care Instructions

All animal skin, furs, and sheepskin products are natural products that will feature variation in color tone, pile, texture, and shape.
All dyed products keep away from direct UV sunlight exposure as this may damage the colour.
In the event of staining, remove excess soiling with a dry cloth. If it is a liquid stain absorb as much of the stain with a dry cloth without spreading the stain further.
Only with lukewarm water and gentle detergent, gently wash the stain. Do not submerge or wash the product unless otherwise stated.
Do not use chemical agents.
Remove excess moisture with a dry cloth and allow it to dry naturally in the shade and do not apply heat.
Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Keep away from moist and damp areas.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not steam clean

Gently shake outside or use a low-setting vacuum cleaner.
